thanks guys i have one of these at the coast i got free and rebuilt plus installed the same motor i'm putting on this one a new Briggs 10.5 HP electric start

the one at the coast is a 60's Comet 26" cut perfect for the beach but this is the same age Comet 30" cut.

I love these old Snappers you can't kill them.

the metal used to patch was a piece of flat stock left over from a repair job i did on a guys dumpster more freebie stuff Hammer we both like our freebies ;D ;D

I used to cut 5 acres with one of those when I was a kid, well 4 acres, the other acre I had to push cause it was too hilly, but the lady paid me $15 each time.

gotta love them old snappers. best drive system in the business. 4 bolts and a $10.00 clutch and you back in business..

i've got an old ditch witch tough machines, these snappers are great i have 4 of them, they are better machines than my 2 Deeres, but if you want a working machine get you an old Gravely, that is the best machine i ever owned i have 4 of those in Model L1 and they all still start on first pull.

Remember those huge holes in the deck see she is better than new, i welded double steel in those areas to be sure it last forever.
