Got her for free from a gentleman who bought it for the engine for his is boat. The telefex steering system is all hooked up and came with some nice extrras as well and he was nice anough to deliver the boat free of charge ;D Come to find out he downed sized from a decked out V20 with a hard top and all the bells and wistles.
The thunderbird is a 15 footer that once I repower will be used as my "bay Boat" that will allow me to get under some of the docks and in clese to a few boulder fields were the Big gurls (Stripers) hang out but just to sketchy for the V *;D

Sean, it's an illness ;D.
My wife asks me every time one comes in the yard "how many boats do you need"?
My responce usually is "do I go into your shoe closet"? :D

I love that answer!!
I usze to have the V, 17 foot Hawkline, 12 sears game fisher, and canoe.
I sold all except the V, and became a one boat owner.
Now I have been thiking of another small boat for fresh water, were i just moved i am surounded by lakes and kettle ponds, that i might just have to start using when the wind is blowing.
I can hear the wife now!!

We had a 1974 18ft Thunderbird with a newer 90hp evinrude. The boat would corner like it was on rails, and would hop up on plane faster than any boat I have ever been on. However, in rough water she would pound and take water over the bow. A 15' version should be perfect for what you want to do.

The wife actually like this one ::) She likes the coler and the back to back seats. Little does she know those seats are comming out and being replaced my coolers ;D
Still not 100% on the plan of action for this one, I need to see what a engine & trailer are going to hurt me :-/

I had a '68 Thunderbird as my first boat. It was a great boat and laid out like a V20 but no cuddy....well unless you are a midget. Nice boat Sean!

Hey Sean. Giving up already? ??? I saw your listing. :'(
Yeah ::) Nice boat/hull, but I really want to find a nice 16/17 ft flat bottom wood skiff. I've been doing allot of work on my 11ft skiff, and really like the classic lines/looks of the wood skiff, Classic salty boats ;D. This hull is also to heavy for the trailer I have, so to get trailer, motor, odds & Ends, I'd be paying more then I want, on something I'm not 100% on :-/
But I got a good battery out her, two anchors and a gas tank, so not all was/is lost ;D
I also have my eye out for a alluminom, so who knows :P
