I emailed Wellcraft Sunday night to see if they could get me the right color for my bracket. They got back to me Monday morning with a couple questions. I responded Monday night and they came back to me today with an answer. Here's the color info for an '86 Steplift, " Hulll color is listed as GREY and there were four grays used that year - The consensus of the group here is the color grey on your hull is "light grey", Specturm part #ET8154A Cook # 766-ET8154-A for Gel Coat."

Then they gave me the contact #s for Spectrum and Mini Craft (I've seen Mini Craft info here before). The guys name is Robert Stewart and I reached him through emailing an address for "part request" on the Wellcraft page. To me, this is good customer service and makes it more likely that when/if the time comes to trade up, that 25 Coastal (yellow hull) is going in my slip.

Sounds good. Getting info from an older boat, say before the early 90's can sometimes be frustrating. Now everything is electronically archive, but before the information age, info like this means someone's digging through paper. Nice to know they helped you out.

Wellcraft customer service has always been very helpful when I have asked them for things. Two years ago they even scanned pages in some old cataolgs and sent me copies.
