Looks great MJ. There's no doubt you took full advantage of that space. If your like me the cuddy isn't used for much anyway.

The nice thing Shick is that the box only goes in 10" so there is still pleanty of room!!
I just store all my stuff there as dry storage any way.

I love it man!! The bar is set, but I think I'll have to buy my onboard tackle box cause I aint got the time that CB and MJ apparently have :P
MJ, maybe you could get someone else to wax it for you so you won't feel so guilty about it when it finally happens :-/ ;D

Thanks all!! And No wax!!
I guess the thing that surprises me most is how much stuff I can fit in there!!!!!!
I am not even full yet!! And I have a ton of room!
The top to Plano's are #3700
The 3rd is a #3730
The top draw is 3" tall and holds all the hooks I could want in 35mm film bottles
Also holds learder and florocarbon
The bottom draw is 4" high and each slot is 2" wide. They 9" deep. I have a spot for 2 4 6 8 10 12oz sinkers and I think I have over a dozen 12 in there, so you no there are ton of the others!!
The only thing I wish I had now is one more draw for pre-riged rigs that are in baggies.
I guess i can't have everything!! Or can't I ::)

MJ & CB...that whole project turned out GREAT!!...Drip edge at top is good idea...thinkin' hard about followin' your lead...that's a LOT of storage space you guys have added ... ;D...noticed in the pic no seat on pedistal...door does clear front of seat?... ;)...
W/ all space inside the motor-cover in back...could you guys put another(maybe smaller) in there?...that could be your pre-rig storage... ;D...
Great job, Guys!!

Thanks!! Yes the door clears the seat, with room to spare.
There was talk to put it in the engin well but I go in there offten. This is were I keep my bait tank and I have to fill the oil and stuff.
So with the box in there it would have been tuff because you have to fold it open and the box would want to open and crap be falling all over the place!!
Would be ok if all I had were Plano boxes as they are closed and would not matter is they were turned over when fliping the cover up.
Any questions you want to ask go right ahead!! It is kinda a big project. You have to no how to use a tape measure.
Needed tools: Table Saw, Router, router table, jig saw, drill, and a $hit load of screws!!!!!!!!!!!

Next time you two work on a project together, turn on a tape recorder and just let it run...bet you both could retire on results....gotta be hilarious!!... ;D...

That's what we were saying while we were working on it. Need to set up a live video feed with a WIFI connection. Then we could have a live MJ/CB Reality show.
Youz guys probably wouldn't believe some of the stuff that goes on. ;D
