Bait Box under seats Anyone?

has anyone ever built one of these? I was thinking of building some for a couple of my boats. If they work out does anyone want any?

yeah but the beer opening should be in the front not behind the seat. lol but a beer pull out tray would be nice under the seat what ya think? Let me think on it i may could actually do that.

Skool those really look neat...is that one on an existing V20?...insulated, they'd work for bait OR beer...enough of the latter and it'll work for both at one time :o...

If you ARE gonna make some, consider rounded (3" raduis) corners on the inside...live-bait does better w/rounded corners...and the beer could care less ::)...

I can't use 'em cause that's where my fuel tanks are...pair of 40s... ;)...

that was in a C-Hawk i saw on ebay. They had them out with a gap down the sides so you could put stuff between the wall and the box. I was going to round all inside and out side corners. I was figuring how to make a tray that was in the front to hold stuff but have it dry but yet cooled from the inside of the box by the ice. maye to hold 8 to 10 cans? that would be 16 to 20 beer at a time.

skool what would you make them out of, i was thinking about that on my v20 for both sides, storage /cooler in one and bait well with a macerator pump on the other. also it would be long enough that i could have cushions or something on the top/back so i could seat two more guy's, kids, super models ::) whatever.

was thinking of making first one out of wood to big so i could only glass the inside. then use it as a mold to make them out of solid glass.
make inter liner out of glass and the outer shell out of glass then foam the 2 together. then cut the hole in the side for the tray.

Lord Skools I cannot really tell the scale from photo but it looks about right, maybe two inches to wide, too make it a live well what would you do to run pump lines and drain line to it, cut into floor ???

this one does drain through the floor to a thru hull fitting. it gets it water from a brass clam water pickup under the boat. could make the bottom of ours about 3 inches above the floor for the bait box area and that way it wouldn't require going through the floor.
