Well, as it looks from that link I'm not impressed. Seems to just stick a plate straight down into the water. Looks more like a brake than a trim tab? If thats the case it would effect steerage more than trim. I must be missing it because I can't see how it will lift one side of the stern?

it's pure electrical. This makes it easy to install, corrosion free and virtually no maintenance is required
HA HA HA HA HA!! On a boat? Please. There is no such thing as maintenance free!! Oh yeah and what do they consider an easy install? Maybe 6 or 8 hours? Not to mention the 24 new holes you have to drill into your transom.
Not trying to bash the tabs, just bashing thier wording a bit. I wouldn't bash the tabs until I tried them.

I GOT THE SCOOP FROM THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT AT PURSUIT BOATS - SUPPOSED TO BE THE BEST THING GOING - THEY ARE STARTING TO INSTALL THEM ON ALL THEIR NEW BOATS - DID A GOOGLE SEARCH AND LOOK AT THE VOLVO SITE - THEY HAVE SOME MORE INFORMATION

If Volvo Penta developed them, they're sure gonna be worth tryin'...VP's ''been around the skillet enough to know where the handle is'' when it come to boats and how to control 'em...apparently a little-bit of blade goes a long way toward adjustin' the boat's angle...Brudda, if you don't want 'em on your's, shoot 'em up here and I'll test 'em out on mine!! ;) ;D...

Hey MJ, come on down and we'll show you what the gulfstream is all about. ;) I think they're weird too. I have manual trim tabs. I just tell my partner to move his butt to the other side of the boat.
