Just got my Christmas present, Guest on board dual charger, for you guys that have these can I ask where did you mount yours and how, what access did you use to plug in A/C cord. Going to install mine next week weather permitting. I have the full transom ex/sea drive motor on bracket 85 V20.

Willy, I got two...both are mounted w/in reach of batteries with wires that came on the chargers...try not to add length unless you just gotta...if batteries there, inside that big ole full transom would be great!!...

Use HEAVY-DUTY drop cord as SHORT as possible...which charger didja get?...

HEY WILLY, YOU CAN ALWAYS GLUE IN PLACE USING 3M 5200 MARINE SEALANT - NO SCREW HOLES - ALSO CK THE GUEST WEB SITE, THEY MAY HAVE A BULKHEAD CONNECTOR THAT YOU CAN INSTALL - ON ONE SIDE IS THE BATTERY CHARGER, ON THE OTHER IT HAS A WATER PROFF COVER YOU LIFT TO PLUG AN EXTENSION PLUG INTO

Thanks Bud, saw one of those on a boat at the boat show once, probably worth doing I'll check into it. Franco you would trust just using 5200 to mount it huh

It looks like it has to be screwed in on all four corners, has to be open to cool across the back, so no 5200. Going to find a spot tommorow

5200 wont stick to starboard that well - but if you put a big glob of 5200 where the screw holes are on the charger, you could make it stand out a bit more than it would if it was screwed down. You could always substitute a piece of water resistant wood for the starboard and epoxy it to the bulkhead, then coat the wood with 5200 - it'll be there longer than you could imagine

If there's a suitable place to mount inside the transom, that should be thick enough to screw to w/out any probs... :)...

Heck, if all else fails, have your Super Model just sit there and hold the thing!!!...whadda lovely picture.. 8)...

I added one to my boat last summer. Its mounted on starboard which is mounted above the batteries on the splash well wall. Inside the splash well I mounted two rod holders which the bolts hold the charger as well as the selector switch. i bought the recessed males adapter so I can just plug a cord into when we get back to the cottage. I checking to see if I have any photos to post. Bill Mc ;D

Opened up the hatches to look where to install it, got more wall space in that full transom than my living room. Stainless screws and 5200 directly to transom wall up high and dry. Batteries a charging ;D Thanks for the advise all
