Transom bracket on it when I got it.
Thats all for now, will take about an hour to upload these with dial up. All suggestions are welcome but you cridics have the right to remain silent.

LOOKIN GOOD, IS THAT TEAK? AND DID YOU CLEAN UP THE OLD OR BUY NEW? AND WHAT TYPE OF VARNISH?

Cy: The hatch cover is teak and it came with the boat. I stripped off the old and revarnished. I used 3 coats of McCluskis marine varnish. Not sure I spelled McCluskis correct. The wood for the bow ladder is new marine grade oak, with 3 coats of the same varnish.

Wow, guys worry when they see a piece of metal wrapped on the transom, but yours is a custom fit. Super nice work on that support bracket. It wasnt just a cheap bend, but custom bends and welded as well. Looks good.

Hammer: I was worried when I first saw this bracket but when I tilted the motor up and tried to push down while looking for transom movement, it did not move.
The father of guy I bought it from made and installed it years ago out of aluminum.

Freebies are nice but I havent found any for the projects I have done yet.
Next project is to replace the springs on trailer and some square bent bolts.
Would post pictures of springs but I dont even like the looks of them, Should'nt feel bad I just bought the boat in Jan. and have done alot of work already.

Turbo,
The "China Wreck Diver" stands for me. I'm the only diver now who is willing to dive on an old shipwreck named the China Wreck. Its a shipwreck in the Delaware Bay. The conditions are normally black and in your face. The current is so strong, its been known to purge your regs or pull the regs from out of your mouth.
The wreck lies in the shipping channel in only 50 feet of water. The wreck contains about 33 tons of early 1800's chinaware from England. Its a wreck that I fell in love with and wrote a book on trying to discover the ships real name. ;) ;)

Thanks for all the kind words guys. :-*
If you are interested in a installation similar to this I will draw the layout of the under side where the ladder bolts to the wooden supports.
It would make more sense looking at a drawing than me tring to explain in writing. ???
Thanks for the explanation on your name CWD. :D
This forum is full of nice people who like to share and kid about different things. Really glad I found this place. "Should I be posting this over in the sensitive section" :-[

Hammer: Is it true that when you get pulled over by a cop you should never say " officer have you been eating doughnuts cause your eyes are glazed".
Just wandering, my wife dared me to use it next time I get the Kmart special behind me.

Turbine I would recommend you use that line on this forum only, just a thought.
I once in my formitive years, had a friend who pulled a line on a local cop and our duty officer had to drive for six hours to get him out of the county lock up. The duty officers name was Lt. Skains from Louisiana and he did not like taking that trip :(
He got stopped for speeding in a small town in western PA. and the officer asked him what was in the cooler in the back seat after he smelled bear on his breath, he told him it was holy water!!
When the cop handcuffed him and pulled the cooler out and saw it had about a case of beer, my friend said Holy Sh!t it's a miracle!!
Trust me, if I had stopped you I probably would get a chuckel out of it as long as your wife was cute and you seemed OK, but most guys would have you dancing the chicken in the street real quick ;)

Willey: I have done the chicken dance before and not very well may i add. But what does the chicken dance and cops have in common.
Any way if that dance will get me out of trouble I'll start praticing now.
Is it also true that the safest place in town is the coffee shop. Done some research around here and not one in the past 30 years has been robbed, mean while crime grows rapid else where. Hope you LOL ;D

HEY WILLY:
MY MOTHER ALWAYS TOLD ME: WHEN A MAN WITHOUT
A BADGE MEETS WITH THE MAN WITH A BADGE, THE SMALLER MAN WITHOUT IT NEEDS THE BIGGER TOILET.
IN OTHER WORDS, WHEN I GET STOPPED BY ANY POLICE OFFICER, IS "YES SIR, NO SIR" ALL THE WAY, AND WHEN THEY ASK YOU: "DO YOU KNOW WHY I'M STOPPING YOU?" YOU SAY: "NO SIR, BUT I'M SURE YOU'LL LET ME KNOW IN A HEART BIT"

if you ever get pulled over and ur not sure why, the worst thing you can say is "what seems to be the problem officer". i asked that question tice and both times ended up eating asphalt! not realy sure why. now i just keep both hands on the wheel and speak only when spoken to. in gulfport anyway. out of that jurisdiction its usualy, "hey bud, hows it going? was i speeding?" and usualy go about my buisness with a warning. most cops just wanna know they are gonna make it home to thier families. show a little respect and things go smoothly. 'cept GPD. they eat thier young.
