Hey boys,
Looky what I just scored on Ebay:

This dash panel comes with brand new Faria gauges and the tach has the built in system check for my motor. Plus, it even comes with the switches and a fuse panel. All that for about $75 including shipping!
The only downside is that it has the Crestliner insignia on it. Maybe I'll have a small Wellcraft plaque made to cover it over.
I plan on making a couple of modification to the dash. After seeing what Skools did on his 21, I think I can design something to make this new dash work. I think it's gonna look really clean when I'm done.

BGA, looks pretty cool! I'd say the price was right too. Can't wait to see it installed.

Thanks Sean.
If any of you are looking for some Faria guages like those, you can buy this setup with the dash:

My finder's fee is the tilt/trim gauge that is comes with... :P
Somebody like Skools could actually make a dash like that fit in a V20... But even if the dash can't be used, the gauges, switches, fuse block and wiring can all be taken off and used on your current J/E setup (1996+).

Naah Reel, I'm not purposely keeping things on the down low; I'm just slow getting around to doing the work and posting the progress...
By the way boys, the seller has a few more of these things for sale:

Grace, Could you post what the overall length and width is for that panel ?? That is a clean panel for a very nice price - I might be tempted.
Thanks, Brian

Sure Brian. It's 6 1/2" x 14".
I actually bought one of the other panels as well. The one that's molded to fit inside the dash area. But I bought it only to get the tilt/trim gauge off of it to install on the first one. I plan to turn around and sell the second one without that gauge.
Also, the wiring on the gauges looks a bit different than what I'm used to seeing. Normally, there are a number of posts on the back, but not on these ones. They have plugs coming out of them that are already connected to the gauges. It will be interesting trying to hook it all up, but I think it's quite doable. Indeed, great price for full set of Faria gauges and the knob switches (not to forget it also includes the fuse block). Man, this guy should hire me as a salesman ;D
I'll try to post some pics of the back of it on Monday.

Thanks bro, me too! Lord willing, I hope to get some of it done next week. I'll be taking some more fiberglassin' lessons from you and Skools :P
I have till Wednesday to get this stuff done. My wife is scheduled to be induced to give birth to our second child at 8:00 PM that night ;D It's a boy! ;D After that, I don't think I'll have a whole lot of time to tend to boat stuff for a short while.
