Hey guys,

I celebrated my 36th birthday last Saturday, so we went out to dinner and to BassPro last night ;D

I wasn't planning on buying one, but the sale was good enough to justify getting it now.

$99 for a 3 bank 5/5/5 on board charger!

http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10151&catalogId=10001&langI d=-1&partNumber=74190&hvarTarget=search&cmCat=SearchR esults

I only needed a two bank, but the price was so good it got me thinking... I have two extra batteries laying around, so I thought I'd install one more battery on the boat in one of the two consoles of my boat. I can have a dedicated battery to the stereo and VHF (that I still have to buy. it's my birthday you know... did I mention that already? :P).

Anyway, I thought I'd pass along the info in case any of you guys were in the market...

Happy Birthday Preacher, *:P
I wonder if you are anything like Clint Eastwood in that old cowby movie 'Preacher", a club in one hand and his trusty six gun in the other hand. ;D
West Marine has the same sale, but no cash. :-/

Thanks Hammer,

I don't know if I'm a true cowboy or not, but I do have my trusty Ruger 40. :)

Thanks boys! *

I had a great birthday. *Spent some $$$ on the V. *Got new dash, new stereo, new onboard charger, a new SS prop, and planning to get a VHF. *Oh yeah, and I have to get the boat and trailer registered. *Suffice it to say, I'm a blessed man with a wonderful wife. *

Parishht, it's good to know somebody else on the list has had a good experience with these chargers.

Reel, thanks for the kind wish *;) *Indeed, may the Lord bless me with many more. *Life is good *8)

MJ, you salty sailor *:-[ *;D

Sean, thanks buddy. *

If you want the Cadillac of chargers, you should look into ProMariner.

I'm not that kind of a pastor :P I can't afford to drive a Cadillac and I can't afford the Cadillac versions of anything...

So, I'm okay with the middle of the road stuff...

I did buy the Promariner 15 foot extension kit--does that count? :P

I think they cost about the same as the BassPro chargers (on sale) for some of their cheaper waterproof stuff.

Hey BGA,

Happy Belated Birthday!!!!!

I was gonna get you a battery charger but I see you already have one.

How about a "God Bless You" instead?
