I recently installed an INSTA-TRIM pump on the SEARAY project I did. It works very well with the BENNETT tabs. HARLEEROD on Ebay has new pumps for $179 with shipping included.
On edit: just keep in mind the INSTA-TRIM pump is MUCH taller than a BENNETT pump.
Here's the INSTA-TRIM pump in the SEARAY with BENNETT tabs.

appreciate the tips guys. unfortunately i have no pump to repair. i salvaged the tabs from a katrina boat that an angry track hoe operator destroyed when he was told he was fired for looting. i gave the yard dog 50 bucks and he said take what you can. i left with a 120 gallon aliminum gas tank, stainless marine bracket with platforms, 2 big surflo pumps, and trim tabs minus the pump and switch. the entire console (bout a 30' contender cc) was gone. so pump and switch didnt make it. i just wondering if the insta tabs are anywhere near the performance. tx

If you have the tabs and rams from a BENNETT system, I would just get an INSTA-TRIM pump.

I see from another post that you are in Gulfport, I have a buddy in Gulfport!
One of the only house that had no damage! Just one board that held the Satalite dish fell off.

ur friend a lucky man. they were using the cow field up the road to store some boats and when they cleared the field they left that boat. so i talked to the guy who owns the field. he didnt realy want the 50 bucks but i insisted on giving him something. he told me about the track hoe operator getting fired for digging thrue the rubble.
i was lucky too. of all the fallen trees only 1 landed on my house. ur friend was lucky he didnt get shot! military orders were shoot to kill and leave 'em where they lay. no paperwork!

Are trim tabs really worth it on a V20? The best $50 I ever spent on mine was a Stingray brand fin that mounts just above the prop. I dont know why the boat factorys dont just install them. Its such a huge improvement. accelerates better, turns better, and planes at low speeds. you got a new boat after you put one on and you give up nothing in return. Drill 4 holes tighten 4 bolts and shazam...

I agree with the fin, I have one also!!
But the fins offer nothing for the side to side rock, Tabs will leavel the ride out, on a boat that is one side heavier
