Really good reading. I have been having trouble with my primer going soft and hard starting after shutting down. My arrow is pointing down, will try to relocate so it points up and see if this helps. If so I owe you one. :-*

My bulb never got hard since I've had boat. I have an EFI, which has an electrical fuel pump, so it's NOT even necessary to have a bulb. I just installed a new bulb yesterday, still didn't get hard. THEN I find this, turn the bulb so it's vertical and VOILA, it gets hard!
