Well guys I stepped out back to the pond on our property at work to do a little fishin. I really intended on catchin a pile of bream for the fryin pan. My intentions were in vain as the outcome was mostly bass. I could not even get but two bream because of all the 1-2lb bass hitting the ultralight lures. I know I caught at LEAST 30 bass. Half of these were 2lbs or better and about 5 were in the 3+ range  I had no idea the quality of fish that were in this little "mud puddle." I knew there were a few 8-10lbers at one time, but that was a long time ago and we had all but dried the pond up since then. Well, they made it and are now thriving well. We now have the water back up and as you can see its doing great. Here are a couple pics...I let all but a few dinkies for the fryin pan go free.

Stinky it looks a little on the low light condition for those terminator mirror shades, might there have been a little drinking going on 8)

Stinky! Hurry! Before Mac goes into a coma! He's having digital withdrawls!
P.S. I couldn't see them earlier, but see them now.
Nice fish Stinkster! Bet those 3+ were fun on light tackle!
Personally, my favorite freshwater fish (that we catch around the house) is bream! Striper are good too if you have a clean lake.

I fish for them hybrid stped bass here in a reservour, love em but down here they are tough to fish. They seem to turn on like a light switch, you can mark the fish below you all day, hit them in the head with live bait or lures and they are like statues. But if you happen to luck out and they are on the feed look out ;D you are in for the fishing of your life, big mama jammas that will jump clean out of the water trying to shake you off over and over again ;)

Negative Willy. Those are my Costa Del Mars. If I dont have em, I cant fish. I can really see into the water well with em. I sight casted to most of the bass I caught. 8)
