You no, you would think that this place and places like it would be hopping this time of year!! I mean there is nothing to do, and we are all getting boared.
But it always seem to be the opposite?? Everyone gets so quite?? Then in the spring it starts to heat up again?
Fisherman are a bunch of weird dudes!!!
Especially CB ;D
Hey bud did you get that other boat home yet??

MJ, I've been called worse by better. ;D ;D ;D
Yeah, it's home finally. I'm starting to gather some materials to build a structure over it so I can work under it over the winter. Also looking everything over to evaluate what I want the final outcome to be before I start tearing into everything. Don't want to do it twice. Since I've got it and the cats out of the bag, I may as well tell everyone that I picked up a winter project. It's a 1978 Formula 233. Same hull as the earlier 23 Contender, 24 Albemarle, SeaVee, Bluewater, and the list goes on I'm sure. It currently has twin 6 cylinder I/O's that are coming out and a bracket with an outboard is going on the transom.
Once BS upgrades ISP with more space, we might need a special edition Formula section in the gallery. ;D

hehe ;D Yeah, I know. I'm starting my own little navy.
Got the Wellcraft, the Formula, a 15' aluminum Mirrocraft, and a canoe. My wife has been pestering me to sell the Mirrocraft. I reminded her that I've owned that longer than I've known her. I bought it in 1972 or '73. Boat, motor and trailer for $800.00 brand new. The boat's nothing fancy by todays standards in aluminum technology but it has a side console with steering and controls, a 25 hp Johnson Sea Horse motor and a Dilly tilt trailer. It is just a standard V bottom hull and I got some Mahogony strips from my days at Boston Whaler and made a flat grid floor that'll keep your feet dry and i also made a bow locker to keep stuff dry and store the anchor. The stern area is closed in as well to store the two portable gas tanks. It's a good lake boat and makes a good duck hunting boat as well. It'll even get out in the salt in a pinch on real nice calm days and close to shore.
Anyways, the boat is staying so I agreed to peddle off a bunch of other boating related stuff that I've accumulated over the years. I've also got a big pile of Harley parts that I'm going to take to a swap meet and unload. Gotta save my pennies for the new project. Especially the repower. That'll probably be one of the highest tickets throughout the project.
BS, I'll let you know when MJ is going to come up for the private viewing and we see if you're free. ;D

I am going to call tomorrow for the 13 weeks!!
As for my wife..... Well she went the first night ang they gave her IV antibiodics and some pain pills. Told her to back 24 hours later for a 2nd round, and lrft the IV needle in her arm. Went back last night and they dd the whole thing all over again. Now we have to go back tonite for the 3rd round. But it is working!! the hand sweeling has gone down now and she is feeling better. but it is still pain ful as hell!
This all stems from a burn she got fromwork 2 years ago and she is still collecting workers comp.
The Doctor say she can't go there anymore as Comp has not payed him, then its they have to give him permission to see him??
Lawyer called him and Comp for the last 3 days and nothing from eaither ine of them.
So lawyer is sending some kind of court thing to Comp to make them respond??
In the mean while they said for us to go to the emergency room for treatment and they will forward the bills to Comp when they come in!
This is one really big F K Mess!!!!

Well hopefully it'll help her out in the long run. I hate insurance companies. After I got laid off we switched over to some two bit ins. company my wife's place of work had. They haven't paid many of the bills that we accumulated in the short time we had that co. I'm getting calls and notices from all sorts of medical labs, doctors, etc. Her company switched over to BCBS and the trouble ended immediately.
Are you ready for the SNOW???? I scrambled yesterday and covered the boat. It was all winterized but I think I was holding out hopes of a couple (or at least one) good day to make another Cod trip. Ain't gonna happen now. So, she's all tucked in for a long winter sleep with visions of Stripers and Fluke dancing in her head.
I bought a new snowblower this year with some of my unused vacation time money that I recieved. Got caught with my pants down last year (that happens to me a lot :o ;D) and had to shovel all that snow because my 40+ year old blower that my dad passed on to me a few years ago finally crapped out and wasn't worth fixin.
BRING ON THE SNOW BABY!!!!! THAT ALL YA GOT????
I actually don't mind it all that much. The only thing I don't like is not being able to get on the water and fish. But once the cold settles in and i come to grips with it, I'm okay with it unless it drags on like last year. So, lets just hope for a short winter. :'(
