http://gallery.menalto.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=index

As for the cold!! it is -3.2* right now as we speak!! We had a low of -7.7* over night!! I also have a wind chill of -30* winds are from the NW at about 30mph

70 - this is a repost. Try doing a search for a web based file manager.

There are tons of open source projects out there . . . you just need to search for one that meets your needs. The code is already written . . . you just need to download the program and edit a config file and ftp the files back up to your space on 1and1 according to the docs for that project. I can help out.

All the web based programs on wellcraftv20.com - (Gallery and YaBB forum) are opensource (free) programs that can be found off sourceforge.net or freshmeat.net. I can hack together some basic code, but I think you'll find a project on sourceforge that is offering exactly what you want.

Here's links to the projects that I use:

The Gallery project:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gallery/
http://gallery.menalto.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file =index

Yet another Bulliten Board (YaBB)
http://sourceforge.net/projects/yabb/
http://www.yabbforum.com

Yabb also has a huge resouce of add on:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/boardmod/
http://www.boardmod.org/

Just a few questions . . . .

Are you only uploading pictures/movies or do you want to upload other files?

How many people need access to the files?

70 -

The best way (most reliable way) to do this is to setup a SSH and have your clients use winscp (secure way of ftping files) to your shop. FTP would work too, but FTP is not encrypted.

Requirements:
Try rackspace.com
Dedicated Linux server running ssh (40GB of space).
Probably $150/month for hosting.

I have setup up a similar system for our company to share files with our Japanese business partners. They love it and it's secure. I think you'll really regret using 1and1 for business purposes.

I am trying do this on a budget this is a new company I am starting and I don't really want to spend any extra for the FTP for me it is not a necessity but something I would like to setup so I don't have to wait on a disk
so I would like to try the PHP it does not need to be that secure they are only sending art files for advertisment I would just like it so only I can see the files and not anybody else.
something else I saw was a page were you just filled in the email address and had a box with a browse button which let people find the file on their computer and then a button that said send file and it showed a progress bar showing the upload after it finished uploading it was done and it would send an email to the webmaster to tell him a file was uploaded so he could download it.
is this something I could do with my hosting company?

also this have to be some what dummy proof because some of the people sending me a file need it to be as easy as possible :-/

70 - email me [email protected] or [email protected].

I think gallery would work for you. I am somewhat worried that the program might choke (timeout) on 100mb files, but we can test it out. I'll explain an the email.

Back to Wellcraft v20's.

on that note would anyone have any suggestions to just fill the cracks in the gel coat and just paint it or try to re gel coat the boat?
mine is the 1970 V-20 in the gallery.
