Sorry ;D Just couldn't hold back any longer. I got a call this evening saying that I landed a job that I've been trying for since the end of last August! I've been back and forth with them taking tests, interviews, background checks (don't worry MJ, our secret's still safe :-*) and I finally got it! Out of close to 900 applicants, I was one of five to get a position. Whooohooo!
Okay, okay. I'll settle down now. ;D
I DON"T THINK SO!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Don't worry about us poor jobless people that are going to have to go on wefare just to surive. We will be fine eatting rotting fish carsess form the dock side fish that were cleaned. *:'(
I will have to sleep on my boat soon!! All four of us just driffting around as I will have no gas to run the motor. But you go to work each day have your freash food, shower and all the free razor blades you want, while I grow a beard cause I can't afford a stone to sharpen my fish knife to shave!!
Good luck and don't worry about me! :-/

Thanks everybody! 8) I think I start in two weeks. They are letting me know tomorrow.
In case anybody isn't aware, Gillette is the major sponsor of the NE Patriots. They play in the brand new Gillette Stadium.
I don't think I'd want to sit near MJ for 5-6 hours on a plane. Real tight quarters for the flatulance that'll be coming from him. It'll be enough to cause a change in cabin pressure. :o ;D

So CB, as I understand it, you got the job not just because you were an *** kisser, but because you were an *** kisser that did his homework.
WAY TO GO! 8)

CB, all kidding aside, do you think you may have impressed them by showing them in a subtle way that you did some research on the company or at least had some level of awareness of your potential employer?

I actually think it may have helped in a very small way. During one of the interviews, the discussion turned a little lighter towards the end and we were casually talking about the newest products and which way the company was heading vs. the competition. I did do some research as well as talk to a good friend that's working there. So I was able to impress upon him the fact that I at least took an interest in the company. Shortly after that particular interview, there was an article in a local paper here about the very subject we were talking about. So, at least I was timely as well.
Thanks for all the well wishes guys. I'm sure it'll work out well. I'm very excited to start. 8)
