WOW I just bought a 79 cuddy and found this site to my great suprise! Here is the problem I need info on this boats beam, draft, and weight. It is a 20' 1979 steplift w/cuddy,merc 470 170hp inboard and I think the fuel cell is original 50 gal i was told but he wasn't sure. Any info will greatly help, many more questions to follow.THANKS

Beam is 8'
draft is about 18" I think with the leg up.
Weight is a good ?? I think they are just over 3000# from the factory. But most here weigh in at 4000 # or better fully loaded.
Fuel, do you have side tanks or one in the floor?? Sides are 20 each giving you 40 gal total. Floor tanks most of the time is 60gal.

When you get to the front page of this site you will see some links. If you click history and Vintage Photos and they have some Catalogs for different years with all the spec. Not sure there is a 79 there but they are pretty much the same.

I have found this site to be an invaluable tool in getting input on different boat projects. There are some great folks here!
As for stats, I got mine by emailing Wellcraft directly. Go to their website and look for the "Contact us" link.
Here's what they gave me for my '90 model:
