Well guys...as of last night me and my brother simple gesture 2 will not be using our Wellcraft V20 anymore. Yesterday we bought a new boat. We bought a 25' Bertram. It's gonna be tough seeing our boat go after all the work and time we've put into it, but we figure that with the fishing we do we need to move up to a bigger boat. And this is a great boat.
We haven't listed the Wellcraft just yet, but will be doing that shortly. As of right now we are taking offers.

John

Shortly will list the boat and all its contents...

I was wondering what was up with simple_gesture and simple_gesture squared. I thought maybe you had split personalities. ;D
Too bad you're selling. Stick around afterwards to share your fishing adventures with us. What model Bert are youz getting?

We bought the 25' bertram sportfish. We were pulling our hair out wednesday night because we weren't sure what to do. We've put so much into the wellcraft over the years and the boat is mint. It's turn key and go. Plus we just finished everything for the summer and we were gonna put it in this weekend to start off the fishing year. But with the type of fishin me and my brother like to do ( sharking, tuna, canyon fishing ) we just figured the bertram was too good to pass up on. Plus our father owned a 25 Bert for 20 years and sold it 5 years ago for a 31 Bertram. I've always wanted to get another one, these are great boats.

We definately will be sticking around this site.

Sorry to hear that....but the berts are great boats. I like the 31's -- I recall seeing a yellow hulled bahia mar named "snoopy" on the great south bay..... and the 25 with the right power can become quite a "pocket battleship" I saw some diesel I/O's from mercury at the NY boat show that would be awesome in a 25 bertram. Check out the armstrong outboard bracket website. they retro fitted a 25 bertram with twin suzuki 225 outboards on a bracket.

Good luck and good fishing!! and post photos of some of your shark /tuna trips. -- Fugazi ;)
