I hate installing them!! I had big problems when I did mine and now I am having big problems doing this new motor!! >:(
You would think they would be so simple to do? Just two cables and 4 conections? but I have the biggest time every time I do a set of them >:(

Get them snaked in yet? I know the last time we talked you said that the tube was full with all the current wiring and all. I was wondering about the possibilty of getting a smaller flexible tube with the new stuff running through it in there. Not inside the tube that's already there, but on top of or beside it.
??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

Binnacle mount? If so, I've had the same problem in the past. Try putting some washers to act as spacers between the control and the console. It may be hitting underneath and preventing a full throw. Start by raising it 1/4"-3/8" and see if it works. Or, try raising (spacing) under just the front or rear of the controller. This worked for me before, then afterwards, I made a solid spacer to go under the controls. Actually, I think Yamaha makes a spacer just for this purpose. I know you're not installing a Yammi, but give it a try.
I'm sure you're ready to try anything right now just to get the f'ing thing done and out of the yard.

He must be as happy to get it back as you are to get it out of the yard. Should run pretty nice with that new Johnson. I always liked the unique styling of them Henry O's. 17' is just a tad on the small side though. But with a bow like that and with the chines, should be a relatively dry boat. 8)

Not only is it a dry boat, but it is one of the best riding boat I have been in!
This thing takes the water like a dream!! But is small. We went out toghter one day and it is a small boat for two big guys!
But they make it in a 21 to!! ;D
