Had to start a new thread, cause my puter is choking on those pics.

OK, heres the deal:

Good news is you got the loadrite roller brackets-- very nice. :P

Bad news is you got the 3700 trailer. LOADRITE OR 5STARR -- IT IS STILL ONLY RATED FOR 3700 LBS CARRY CAPACITY! The 3700 comes with 13 inch tires, and only 24 rollers. It also weighs 50 pounds less.

Where is your bill of sale and order form??

Your title and sticker don't even match. That sounds like fraud to me. A potential insurance liability for all parties in the event of a wreck with your underweight GVWR trailer.

Write this all up in a nice email to the prez. He will care because that is his signature on those title forms. The buck stops there.

Be polite. :-* Start by tellin him you heard from another guy on www.thehulltruth that he was an honorable man, and would want to make things right. Tell him you hope he can resolve this matter "in-house", and wanted to give him the opportunity to do so. He will get your drift.

You should have all your dealings documented in an orderly timeline. Be sure to include those excellent pics.

Knock em dead, MJ. :)

Ok here is the latesed!! The #"s do not match because the Man. (load Rite) will not sell a tandam without brakes, so the dealer (Northeast Marine) Changed the # which they say is leagle!!

That is why Load Rite can't find a load rite trailer by that model!! But that does not say why it has a 5 Star #??

Acording to load rite this is a 5400 # trailer if it had the right tires?? So the thing making it a 3700 is the 13" tires, If we put the 14" it will then be a 4200" and 15" and more rollers will be a 5400# trailer.

But so far no one wants to be the person that wants to give me $100 worth of tires??

What a Mess!!! :'( I am supose to be happy right now and putting my boat on the trailer!!

CAPACITY ROLLERS TIRES WEIGHT

3700 24 D13C 1200 LBS
4200 28 D14B 1250 LBS

YOU HAVE 3700 TRAILER AND BOGUS PAPERS.
THIS IS ABOUT MORE THAN JUST TIRES.
IF IT WAS ONLY ABOUT TIRES - YOU COULD LET IT SLIDE.
YOU REALLY NEED TO GET THIS STRAIGHTENED OUT NOW--WHEN YOU HAVE A CHANCE-- BEFORE YOU HAVE A PROBLEM. E-MAIL THE PREZ AND STOP FOOLING AROUND. THE BALL IS IN YOUR COURT.

I talked to Load rite again today and he has confirmed that I have ordered a 4200# trailer.
He now wants me to weight my trailer to see what the total weight is wet!! To make sure that we get the right trailer for the job.
I feel I no the right trailer for the for the job and this a waste of time!! But hey if it gets what Iwant i will do it.

2300 dry weight
400 motor
100 gill bracket
455 gas
-------
3255 #

Now I called Wellcraft and I spoke with a guy there that said 2300 was the dry weight at ther time but I should add with my gear and allowence for water loging about 1000# more

which is 3355 which is well with in the 3700# range.
I told him I also added weight for the fish I bring home about 200 to 500 a trip, which will then put me over the 3700 #

Any way he is going to call me tomorrow??
I am going to call the Prez tomorrow!!

MJ, you are killin me. ::)

You ordered a 4200 loadrite trailer.
You paid for a 4200 loadrite trailer.
You should have a 4200 loadrite trailer.
You should have the correct title to prove it.

Stop jerkin around with these fools and go to the man who can fix it with one phone call.

Ok I have finished talking to the want to be's!!
I have called the big guy him self and I am a waiting his return call!

as for the trailer goes , I have a 4200# trailer this is confirmed!! But I am missing the tires and one set of rollers.

Load rite says my fight is with Northeast Marine as they made changes?? And there is nothing more that they can do!

Northeast says it is Alantic Boat fight as this is were I bought the trailer?

Alantic says I got just what I ordered??

Waiting for the big guy to call??

Your tale is much too complex for a phone call.

Call back for his e-mail adress, and write it up as an email with your pics. Don't waste Mr Bigs time if you want results.

And you don't have a 4200 trailer -- not on paper or in your driveway.

Well the prez has called me back and I explained all to him. I also emailed him all my stuff!! He said he will call me back in a few days after he talks to all persons involved.
We shall see what we shall see??

I knew they'd end up making it right. For what it costs them in the extra components, it's just not worth getting a bad reputation over. They obviously screwed up (the dealer you bought it from) and it never should have gone as high up within the company as it did. The dealer should have just swallowed his stubborness and gave you the right equipment and learned from their mistakes.

Since the parts are on LoadRite's dime, I would think that the dealer would get at least a mild rebuke from the Prez.

Glad to hear you're finally getting somewhere.

Good. :)

What about your screwy papers? ???

macojoe
05-18-2004, 10:23 PM

When you get your brackets, why don't you send the prez a real nice thank you letter, and also ask him if he wouldn't mind giving you some clean papers so your insurance agent will be happy also? :-[

macojoe

I have a nice letter all typed up for him!! I will send it as soon as I get the brackets!!

Sea, what does the 28 rollers look likeon your trailer?? I have the double set in the rear of the trailer and 4 single sets in the front.
I have been tod to remove the rear set of singles and they will be replaced wit doubles.

so the rear rack will have 8 each side and the middle will have 8 and the front will have 4 ??

I hope you understand what I am trying to say!! ;D

Does this sound right to you??

MJ, you are forgetting that I have 32 rollers on my trailer. :-*

I know that I have a 4200 trailer, and a 4200 is supposed to have 28 rollers, but mine came with 32. ;D

You know I'm not one to complain about the little things. Live and let live, take it easy, go with the flow ... that's me. ;)

To answer your ? , the unpaired rollers are the most forward set on the 4200 trailer.
