This weekend I got out in the nice weather and did some more work. I swapped out the lounge for a Todd model 1000 seat/pedastel and swapped out the capts chair with the same. I then installed a hatch in the transom bulkhead where the old rotted teak doors were.
I also took the bow pulpit off and resealed/re-bolted it down. It was leaking a bit into the cabin.
I'll hopefully get some pics soon.

I also installed the Todd 1000's. They look great and there's plenty of room to get through

Considered those same seats recently...either had to replace seats or reupholster existing....wound up goin' to trim shop....seats look a little close, but nobody's complained and gawd knows they would ::) ....
Post pics, man we gotta see 'em... ;D

The two new Todd 1000's:

The rear bulkhead hatch -damn I have alot of screw holes to fill- any advice?

And I found a replacement hatch door for the tackle locker:

Next, I may cover the port dash area with starboard and replace the teak strips (removed in the pics) with starboard. Its easier to cover then to fill /sand etc. I still have lots to do.

Thanks.
I am dying to get the cover off completely so that I can do some gel coat repair and fill the screw holes. I'll probably have to wait until it warms up to get to it, or the gel/filler/ epoxy wont cure properly.
I still have lots to do. Right now my short list is:
1. Clean up the wiring in the cabin - There is no cover for the rear of the helm, and the wiring, while new, is a mess. Plus, the running lights were re-wired by the p.o. and the wires just drop down onto the "shelf" inside the cabin. I dont really know what to do with that yet. Apparently the old wire was under the carpet??
2. Make a cover for the well in the cuddy. - probably out of marine ply.
3. Fix/re-route raw water washdown system.

If it's in the budget, Starboard (3/4") would make a real nice cover for that hatch in the cabin ;D...you'll NEVER have to replace it...

All right Mr. Productive nice boat, what are those channel locks doing holding up your cover support? huh, huh..... ;D

Not channel locks...Vise Grips.... but it's all the same...vise grips, bailin' wire, duct tape...can't do a boat-job w/out 'em ;D...

You should see how that support holds up the cover!!
I am adept at mickey mousing things if I have to. I worked in a sheet metal/machine shop for a while.
All I really need are a pair of vice grips, a roll of electrical tape, a hammer, a bigger hammer, an adjustable wrench
and two screwdrivers and I at least "think" I can do anything. :)
