Nice!!!!!!! You're gonna like the ride and room of the V20 center console. Very dry ride for a center console. ;D

This looks to be a very good option to a $1500 leaning post. Looks pretty sweet to me.

Knight...of course we know what your dreams are...they are our dreams, too... ;) 8)...we were getting around to the T-Top, out-riggers, then radar, boat-house to keep it in, new f-250 to tow it....dreams are endless... and essential... ;D...and believe me, we're ALL waitin' on that lotto to hit...

Chum,...that's a great lookin' leaning post...had no idea you could get that nice a unit for that price... ;) ;D

Knightfisher , that is a sweet rig . It looks to have been cared for by a little old man who only took her out to wash her on Sundays ! That was a great find . It is nice to have another center console around here . What is the story with the guy that you bought her from ? Did he use the boat ?

1989 with a 97 200 mercury offshore. I found this in boattrader the guy wanted $4,000 for it i ask what was wrong with it he said the transom was rotted so i said well i don't know and he said give me $2,500 and it's yours ;D so i brought it home pulled the top cap off dug all the rotted wood out filled it with seacast 350.00 bucks had it in the water 1 week. it had the 150 force on it i ran it one year still ran good. found a deal on (2) 200 mercury offshore couter rotate had a blow motor right hand ran like a new one got both for ;D 2,000 parted out blown one, foot, prop, gafrig controls that came with it $1,150 for that i have $950.00 in 97 200 merc ;D So did i do good or what i dream boat.

Dang. I didn't think the cowl looked that tall. Nice job on the deal. My buddy picked up a V20 fisherman w/ 140 for $1500. No problems w/ the hull. Just one of those for-sale-on-the-side-of-the-road-in-the-middle-of-nowhere deals. I think you have some fiberglass shop to thank: PO brings it in, shop says it's $2k to fix, PO doesn't want to invest anymore, puts it up for sale, and here you are. ;)

you hit it right on the head the guy was told it would cost him 2,000 to fix so he put it up for sale.

I payed $1800 for mine in 1998, but needed a outdrive and that cost me $1100 so that was $2900
But lets just say with all the things since then, I am in way over my head!! If you add it all up I bet I am at or near $10,000!
And I guess I would do it all over again if I had too! Wow this boating thing Sucks!! ;)
