MJ and I are tentatively planning to be at the NE Saltwater Fishing Show this weekend. Possibly friday, but more than likely on Saturday. Do you know what booth you'll be at? I saw on their website a floor plan, and thought we'd like to say hello.
Any other locals planning on attending?

I was planning on going. Any day is OK. Show hours are:
Friday: 12-9
Saturday 10-7
Sunday 10-4.

If we can meet in the lobby, I have $2.00 off admission

CB I am on the show committee and I will be like horse s--t. I will be close to the seminar areas most of the time as that is my gig . Look for a 240 lb. Leprechaun with grey whiskers ( slight beer belly ) I will be wearing a RISSA club shirt as will most of the show workers. If you see some one walking around with a radio, have them call me and I will hook up with you.

CB had some family things that came up and could not go!
I was on the way and made it 1/2 way and stoped at a bait and Tackle shop were all the guys from another site hang.
After I spent some cash there and spent like 3 hours shoting the crap I just did not have the gusto to go the rest of the way :(

O well next time. I hate to drive hour and half alone! :'(

Sorry Capt. Couldn't make it. I had a death in the family and had some matters to take care of today. I was looking forward to the show too. How is the turnout?

Veeder How do you figure I was the MC ?
It was good to meet some one that has been posting on this site.
The show went very well, most vendors went way over last years sales. and we had several of them want to sign up fpr next year show right away.
As for me I am going to kickback for a day or 2 and then uncover my baby, aint seen her since 1st week in Nov.

If there were any complaints I heard about the show, (and believe me, there were only a couple of minor ones) it had to do with the out of place mortgage lenders, siding contractors, and gutter installers. Most people said it wasn't a big deal though. They just kept on walking past them. I guess it's an integral part of holding a show in a large forum to help sponsor and fill the place. Everything else was more than positive.
Good work to Capt_K and the rest of the RISAA people. ;) 8)
