I believe the claimed draft of a v-20 is 32 inches with the motor down? Can anyone give me an idea of how shallow they can go without grounding?

Dam Bush!! >:( He will Draft anything!!

As long as I have 2 feet of water I am fine. I have even got it to go with the motor up in 1 foot!!

I can drift through 2 feet O.K.. When I see 2 feet I start to get a little nervous.

With bow-mounted trollin' motor and big motor tilted, we chase winter time stripers up in some right SKINNY water...motor up will go in water less than knee deep... ;) :D

Mine (just went and measured) is 36" to the bottom of the skeg, and 22" with the engines up. Mine's pretty butt heavy, though.

Funny thing...now that I have one, I see them all over the place. Also, a guy brought a boat into the shop (Saweeeet 38' OuterLimits go-fast boat) and the hull design, except the bow flair, looked identical to the steplift hull on my V20. Must be a good design...
