Franco - Nice boat. You've done some nice work there. Where did you get the electrical wire tags? How about the top? Pricing info would be appreciated too. Thanks.

Franco, looks great. Did you replace a map light with the power outlet under your lexan GPS mount? I ask because I am figuring that is how I'm going to get power to my handheld I bought this winter. Thanks.

I MADE THE WIRING TAGS ON MY COMPUTER, RAN THEM THRU A LAMINATOR CUT INTO STRIPS AND USED A HOLE PUNCH SO I COULD PUT THEM ON THE WIRES.
ON THE POWER OUTLET, I BOUGHT THE OUTLET AT THE BOAT STORE AND ADDED IT IN, IT WAS A GREAT PLACE TO MOUNT MY HANDHELD, BUT I'M STEPPING UP TO A CHART PLOTTER

Copy. I've got an old chart light right where your power outlet is under the lexan mount. I don't think I'll even need to cut another hole.

Cool pictures. Nice top! Like you said, it won't see much use in Florida. I like that dash panel. Mine will be redone some day...

Franco,
Very nice, but............................................... .....I'm not sure about us outboard guys looking at the stern. You must have meant it the other way around. ;)

Glad to see somebody is paying attention, and I like to stir things up a little. But she really does run well, clocked at over 50mph with a full load of fuel and 3 big guys under the canvas.

At that speed Franco I'd be eyeing your stern drive. Nice boat! Bill Mc ;D

Thanks Mac, I usually don't run it anywhere near that, it's gotta be real flat. I used to fish the eastern shore side of the Chesapeake bay, about a 25 mile run from where I put in. usually it took me 45 minutes to get to my fishing spots, more if it was choppy. She cruises nicely around 30 mph.

Mine will do 35MPH calm lake. We cruise at 4000 t0 4200 rpms and go about 25 - 26 MPH. I'm redoing our kitchen and haven't even got the boat out of the barn yet. Bill Mc ;D

Yeah, I'm thinking I'd be eye-balli'n the stern. I max out @ 39 mph with my 140 evi.

Hey Shicks, thats what the extra 85 HP does for ya, but yours is no slug either. And ya got a lot more room in the cockpit. I'd love to have a 225 o/b on a bracket, I fish the ocean and love the full transom. Just repowered mine before I found this site, so I hadn't see the conversion like MJ's.

Thanks to everyone on the replys regarding my pics I posted, Gonna do some up grades soon and will add to them. Painting the deck with nonslip epoxy paint, trimmed down the bow rail, new hatches on the transom wall, all stainless hardware. And I'm gona upgrade the dash with new chartplotter. Stay tuned for the next exciting chapter !!!!
