HEY...what a GREAT job on MJ's pulpit...you two make a purdy good team... ;D...did he let you route the slider rails?...

Thanks man. Yeah, I hit them sliders with the router at the end of the day. All that's left on them is for MJ to reverse taper each end, then they're ready to install.

Phester, I saw a TV show where they are intentionally breeding "allergy-free" dogs...think it was cross of lab and poodle...Google search will tell you more...every kid should grow up w/a dog... ;D...

Keep in mind this is a STANDARD poodle...large dog...not one of the small ones...standard was originally bred as retriever, too... ;)...

Ever thought about crate training? I would have never given it a thought, but before we got our boys I visited a home where my wife was dog-sitting. Their Lab had been crate-trained, essentially the dog is in the crate when nobody is around to supervise him/her. This dog would go into his crate when he wanted to take a nap. Since he was full grown the door was never shut, it had just become his safe haven. I was sold, and we crate trained both our dogs. Worked like a charm. It has to be done in a positive way, and you can never crate them as punishment for doing anything wrong. But it can save you $$$ (slippers, pillows, remote controls) and can save your dog's life by keeping them from eating things they shouldn't. Just my $0.02 worth.

Hey, Stinky...everything's got a price...what's your offer?... :)...
Pipe, Kate IS trained to a crate...at 8 mos she goes to it on her own...she takes my wife's clogs in the crate and EATS them, while I'm sittin' here at the PC carrying on w/ you guys...I tell you, she reinvented STEALTH...good news is, I think she's growing out of it, but she spends a lot of time in the crate...I can't keep her in there ALL the time and our house is kinda spread out, so she can slip off into another area undetected...wifey's takin' it well...she's been around dogs all her life...she knows... ::) :)...

Hmmm, well I tried. I would tell you that you need to wear that girl out, but she's a Lab . . . easier said than done, eh? Hopefully she'll grow out of it.

Pipe, I think people who beat their dogs should be taken out and beaten themselves...many other ways to correct a dog...I learned this after having beaten a few myself....when I look back on the things I wish I could go back and change, that'd be one of the first...somebody should have BEATEN me...

WHOA THERE BIG FELLA! *When I said "wear her out" I meant in the form of exercise!!! * :o *I would NEVER suggest or condone striking an animal. *I am sorry if there was any misunderstanding! *My wife works for a vet, and the stories of abuse and neglect that she comes home with just about bring me to tears. * :'(
We train our dogs for obedience and hunting trials, and to be our loving companions, and believe me, physical abuse would never be employed to train or discipline our dogs. *It just never enters the picture. And I would never tolerate anyone else's physical abuse or violent behavior unless maybe it's directed at the abuser, not the abused. >:(
I hope this clears up what I posted earlier. *

Hey Pipe, thanks for clearin' that up...didn't SOUND like your style at all...you and I are DEFINATELY on the same page...I could go on all day, but I won't bore everybody else w/ it by gettin' on the soapbox... ;D...
How about those Wellcraft V20s...sporty boats, huh?...

Whew, that's a relief! There are many things I'd rather be misinterpreted about than my affection for our K-9 friends!
Saaaaaaaayyyyyy, you're onto something about those V-20s, somebody ought to come up with a way to pay tribute to them, and their heritage, and their owners ;)
AND THIS IS THE PLACE! ;D
This website is the best!
