CT, I think "inland reservoir" typically means any body of water bigger than a mud puddle that is usually landlocked by a dam. In RAP's case, any landlocked mass of water that holds Stripers!

Hmmm . . . something tells me Labii has something to do with this one. I really like the fishing theme of the article cause that's where these boats shine, but I'm really surprised that there is no mention of the designer Raymond Hunt.
Congrats Ozzie!!
Nice article, RAP.
I've never read anything about your replacement of the saddle tanks. Are your new tanks the same widths as the old ones? Do you have any photos?

Thanks, Guys...but just as MJ couldn't have done pulpit and drawers w/ out CB, never woulda made Boating World w/ out somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody...
MJ, you're right...kick my butt because it NEEDS to be kicked...no mention of V20.com and that's my fault...I should have stressed to Mr Wangstad how much there is to learn from this board and, honestly, how much the board has come to mean to me...OK, there...I said it... :'(...pass the kleenex, please...
Fitz, check out the Gallery...bigger tanks are in seat-boxes...
BR...other requirement for inland reservoir...gotta have a ramp!...

Bigshrimpin' and labii cooked this thing up back in March...labii knows the guy who writes this monthly article, Mr Lee Wangstad...Mr Wangstad and I talked several times...he is a walking encyclopedia re boats and the people who LIVE them...he mentions Mr Harry Schoel as designer of the step lift which allows our beloved V20s to perform as well as they do...I think he spoke to Schoel about the article...not sure why no mention of Ray Hunt...or how Hunt and Schoel came together on design of V20...anyway, now the world knows about the subject of our attention... ;) ;D...
Thank You, Lee Wangstad...
