If you are getting a armstrong or Stainless marine and you are just getting a bracket with no swim plarform then they are pretty much the same!!

But mine has the swim platform and there is a big difference!! The V20 has a good curve to the transom. Seacraft is pretty stright.

Mine comes from a Seacraft and has the platform. I had to make some wage shaped shims to go on each corner. Tgere is about 1 1/2 at the very end and tarpers to nothing at the 2nd hole in the bracket.

But you will be able to make it fit I am sure!.

That’s great!!
Do you no what kind of boat it came off??

I would get it power coated, it will last a life time!! Paint won’t.

What I did is took a 4 X 4 of PT and measured the end of the bracket to the boat, I think 1 ½” then I measured how long to were the bracket came to the boat. Drew a line from the 2 points on the 4X4 and cut, there you have it a nice wedge. Do the same for the other side.

When bolting to the boat use a lot of 5200! After the 5200 dry’s take Marinetex and cover the wood to get a nice finished look .
I left the under side of the wood under the bracket uncovered, This way the wood could dry out and I could also check for rot from time to time.

If you know someone (I don’t) you could get some block aluminum, or have them weld you a block and you never will have to worry about.

Ask me all you want to know about install.
