Last wed i was going to go fishing, well the nurse came for my wife and when she looked at the foot it was swelled up >:( Nope no fishing!!

Well we called the doc and went to see him the next day. When he came in he said what seems to the problem??
I looked at him and said the swelling!! He said that is normal after a Bi-Pass.

I said well the last time there was a infection and did not want to take anymore chances!

He said that we have been dealing with this since January and that the blood has not been getting down to that foot for years! That now after 2 bi-passes the veins are being forced open and causing the swelling and that after a while it will all be fine.

After that he looked at the skin graphs and said the are both 100% healed and look real good!

She can now start to walk on her foot and start showering like normal people do!!

This was all great news!! So the physical therapist came and worked with her Fri. She was able to walk 100 feet with a walker and then after a 15 min rest walked another 100 feet!!

She will never be able to walk with out a brace on her foot again, cause she has paralyzed from the ankle down. But she will be able to get around the house and yard ok.
The scooter store called and she has been aproved for a new power chair at no cost to us!! We will get it delivered in about 2 weeks.

All this means FISHING FOR THE FALL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look out Fush the Maco is coming!!

Thanks for all the prayers!! They seemed to have worked!! I should have posted back in Janauray and avoided all this!

Relax there, just take her around noon. That way the lack of wind will just help you two to bake under the sun. I know I made the mistake Saturday of leaving to late for fishing. By 11:00am it was so damn hot that I jumped in the water just to cool off.

With water temps in the upper colum close to 90 degrees (or higher) jumpin in don't always help as much as you'd like for it to!
