Like what does it actually mean? What years were the boats made and in what configurations?
I tried the History section of this sight but all it seems to be is old catalogs that won't load.
I have some small boat experience but a friend that has lots has recommeneded I look for a "V Step 20 hull" to repower and use on LI Sound. Are they only cuddy's or center consoles?
I would like a full transom, does that mean an I/O is mandatory?
This looks like a great site but I'm really at step one and you guys have been around it so long it seems like a different language at times.
Thanks, Rob

RR, welcome to the board, alot of guys here are defenitly "in the know" about the V20. It's a great hull, can't ask for better in a 20 footer. Are you on Long Island or Conn. ?

Recoil, spend some time in the ''For Sale or Wanted'' section of this site...then look around in ''The Gallery''...dual Consoles are rare, but many CCs and Cuddys out there... ;)...stay w/us...you'll pick up the lingo... :D...

Welcome, Rob -- if you're looking for V20 info you've come to the right place. But as for the lingo on this board, proceed with caution -- especially in the "off topic" section -- some of the lingo that goes around here could get you in trouble! ::)

In in NY but on the north side of the Sound, I fish out of Norwalk CT.
Seems like one my options would be to put a bracket on a full transom hull. Can a full transom boat originally built for an I/O be used by glassing in the hole in the transom that was orignally for the outdrive?
Thanks, Rob

RR, the full transom w/bracket is nice,if you don't go that route, just go w/ the 25" transom, the next best thing. I'm on the Northshore too, Kings Park/ Northport area....where you at?
