Does anybody know the weight of a 1986 V-20 ??
I see v-20's on dual axel and single axel trailers.
Being new to the boat world and all, I would prefer a single axel trailer because it seems that they would be easier to turn when trying to back into the drive way. My front tires on my dual axel trailer seem to drag hard when trying to turn in.

trailer, boat, motor, gas, gear, total going to be 3500 to 4000
I have a tandam and they are much better to turn and deal with then a single.
If you are towing far stay with the tandam!!! I had a single when I first bought the boat, and used it for 4 years, But nothing beat the tandam!!

MJ's right...tandem wheels have been scrubbin' asphalt forever...don't sweat it...unless you've got a short tow, tandem's the way to go for a V20... ;)...

I'd be surprised if a loaded V-20 crossed the scales at less than 4200 lbs. but I've not weighed mine. I've got both as I just put mine on a tandem this fall. No contest, it tows better on a tandem. Single will do it as I've probably drug mine 10k on a single, but the tandem does it with style, er saftey.

Many thanks guys, guess I'll stay with the dual axel and just fix her up...as the boat is sitting on metal instead of the roller balls. Dont ever buy a boat from any Jersey Brokers. : )
Mike.
P.S. Its 9:am, time to go work on the boat, wiring and see why the bait well doesnt drain along with the scuppers in the floor.

All right don't just throw a grenade like that and not give any info, especially for us Jersey guys. Might save one of us a problem. So Pray tell why not buy from a jersey trailer dealer
