Gas Sending Unit

I have no gas gauge the sender does work how do I check to see how many ohms the sender is or does anybody know. I want to buy a matching Teleflex gas gauge and the add says they work from 240 ohms.....Ted

Blu, when I bought mine, I just assumed senders would operate gauges...they should match...that's one time assuming worked out... ;) ;D...
