you're not kidding CB,in addition too this is the first time in about 25 yrs. I haven't had my boat in the water by or shortly after St. Patricks day [aka flounder season opener] My recently landscaped backyard is lush and thriving due to all the rain, but I'd rather be on the water

Here it's been very dry. Good for gettin' out on the big blue but, my yard ain't very green. Our well is about dried up too. I've been getting ready for the next round of whatever the hurricane has to offer. Weather folks say the east coast in in for it this year. Take care.

Big storm out at sea traveling north by north east the past week raised havoc with the in shore stuff, big waves and higher tides etc.

My grass is growing so fast right now if it wasn't raining I'd have to cut it twice a week. It sure looks nice though. Bill Mc ;D
We would gladly take some of that rain. Very dry Spring in upstate NY. Grounds hard! Lake levels are low too. No splash down yet, doubtful I can get her in on M-day.

ya know the amount of rain and just "crappy" weather we've been getting in the NE is more "spring like" weather we should be having....with the exception of the last 7-9 days....In recent years it seems that the winters have extended well into March/ April, then we get about 2 1/2 weeks of normal spring weather, then it rains for about 10 days [like now] and then it's straight to the "malaria tent" of heat and humidity for the rest of the summer. So, I for one, am enjoying our spring thus far....makes for nice workin' weather although the rain could let up a bit

Here on the North Fork of LI not quite as bad but still lousy for the next couple days!
Some guy is on the weather channel right now and said it hasn't been this bad since the "Perfect Storm" of 1992.
