Never got the chance to go out, weather eased up and we should get no more than a windt rain storm, with some 40 mph gusts. But you can bet I'll be out saturday morning at "0" Dark Thirty

This was a pic I took of the usually calm Gulf during tropical storm Alberto... Ernesto doesn't seem too bad. At least I got to surf the last storm!

Looks like we dodged this one thanks to Cuban mountains and some dry air...whatever, we'll take it! Have had worst weather during many summer afternoon T-storms.

HEY DIVER!!! IT SEEMS THAT EVERYTHING THAT GOES THRU CUBA GETS MESSED UP, EVEN HURRICANES!!!
ANYWAYS, THANK GOD IT WAS ONLY A DRILL.

BOAT WAS "ANCHORED" TO THE DRIVE WAY VIA HEAVY DUTY STRAPS, WITH TANK FULL (GAS FOR THE GEN.) AND EVERYTHING WAS COOL, EVEN THE "CORONAS".

TELL YOU WHAT, I RAHTER TAKE A HURRICANE ONCE IN A WHILE THAN 6 MONTHS OF SNOW ,BRRRRRRRRR....

FISHING IS GOOD NOW AFTER STORM, MY FRIENDS ARE CATCHING LEFT AN RIGTH.

STINKY, ALONG WITH THE GENERATOR I HAVE A SMALL A/C WALL UNIT JUST TO KEEP US COOL.

TO EVERYBODY, THANKS FOR YOUR CONCERNS.

LESTERUS

Ah yes.... Huricane necessities.. used to be Ice, batteries/candles, canned goods, charcoal and lighter fluid! Now it's... 6 - 5 gallon cans of gas, generator, propane, and a room A/C unit! The freezer still makes ice, the food doesn't spoil, The tube works...cookouts every day, AND ONE COOL ROOM! ;D
