I have a hugh ugly wellcraft sticker across my center console on both sides. I would like to remove it. There is a sticker under the one that you can still see an imprint from. I have at least two layers of stickers that weren't correctly removed on my hull.

Can I remove that sticker imprint or stain.

I use a hair dryer to remove stickers usually. I think the wellcraft sticker will look better then a hugh wellcraft impact/stain

If I run my hand over the area where the old sticker was I can feel that area raise a little.

here is my ugly sticker

If you take that one off you will have a big sun shadow outline where the other one was even if you clean it up and use acetone it will still be there. If you buff it out with a good light rubbing compound it will get most of it but it is still there. I just did the same thing on my 24 coastal and I still had a shadow so I had a computer graphic place do up a name the size of the old wellcraft sticker that I could live with...Polar , Whaler and Robolo have stickers that run almost all the way down the hull and look like shi$...I know a guy who just ordered a new Polar 27 with out the decals .....Frank

I had a painted on shark on the side of my boat when i purchased it. I removed the paint with lacquer thinner. I then sanded the area lightly with 600 grit wet sand paper. I then used a 3m product to remove any left over oxzidation and to polish the hull. A hair dryer should be able to remove the sticker and then the thinner and polish. Good luck post pictures! Had old faded half worn off logos on both sides. I used acetone and rubbing compound. I'll buy new ones and put'm on...sooner or later.

I used some sticker remover from the hardware store. Has an orange scent to it. Took my pin stripes off in minutes.

Spray on sticker remover and scrape with plastic ice scraper as you blow with a hair dryer. Worked for me.
