Those are so cool looking. *I don't know much about them or other saltwater fish. *How do you catch them. *Jigging the bottom? Is their belly on the side?

I like your flukin stick Cap, nice Lammy, I've got a similar set-up for the fluke, a 7ft St. Criox trigger stick w/ a Shimano Calcutta 400s w/ 30lb. fireline, now if I could just get a 9lber on the hook end of it I'd be a happy man :-/

If you ever run out of live bait put on a berkleys gulp shrimp and see what happens...In the mean time fire up the grill and break out a beer or two as its pretty hard to beat fresh flounder...I wish I could catch em like that ....Frank

ok capt, im sorry but im gonna hafta come up there (down there) and kick your ***! i aint taken a keeper this year and here you are takin your limit every day.
i hear talk about the meeting in philly last week and it dont look good for us new yorkers.
they proposed a reduction in recreational bags of 80 percent.
i hear through the grapevine that they are considering a one fish limit, 22 incher per day.
at that rate, i figure a whole buncha party boats will be chopped up and sold for firewood.

Here in Mass its 7 fish at 17 1/2" long
Them are some nice Fluke!! Thats my favorite fish to eat and catch!!
Nothing better then drifting along and jigging for them!!
I use a 7' St Croix, saltwater, F70MBK 3/4 - 3 oz 10 - 20 line.
I coustom made it myself and use a Penn 146 (the small one) I have take so many fish with that rod, that I am going to have to redo it soon.
With everything that has happened this thread makes me miss fishing the most!!
Keep it up you bastard!! ;) ;D :D
