Saturday with my baby.....

My baby girl Lexie (she will start school this year BTW :cry: ) has been begging me to take her fishing. I didn’t want to have her out late with this heat so I prepared the night before for an early departure. I also wasn’t sure how she would feel about that because she isn’t a morning person (like her momma) at all. ;D

Well, I went into her room at 4:30am to try and get her up. I shook her and said “baby do you want to go fishing with daddy today?”

What happened next blew me away… :o

She sat STRAIGHT up with eyes like this>>> ;D and said “SURE, we leaving now?? :o


Thas MY girl!!!


We were off….. 8)

We hit one of my first spots and caught her first ever kitty cat. 8)

We eeked out a few more shorties before she was ready to go home. I didn’t expect it to be a major catchin trip, just wanted her to have a good time. She did! My best trip ever….I cant wait till she is old enough for the salty stuff. 8)

Yeah I meant to tell yall...thats my buddy's little 16 Hydrasports I found for him to buy. He comes in once a month or so, but other than that its mine to use because I take care of it for him. Sweet deal. 8)

I know how you feel.... It's all about the kid's having a good time.... makes all the maintence and repairs PRICELESS.

My 6 yr old has been fishing since he was 2 1/2.... he now gets bored when the bite is slow but he's a fishing addict when the bite is on.... he has a special spot in his heart for catching Striper. ;D :D
