Man, I saw that it was on but was watching a movie w/ family. Carol's sold for 5 mil? Holy moly. I was looking a 67 fastback two nights ago. It was perfect and they wanted 30k. Only reason I was looking it over pretty good is it was just like my first car.

Anyone interested in older cars? Have a 46 ford deluxe coupe. Was manufactured early aug 1945 ford started building cars in july 45 prior to VJ day. We believe it may be the oldest post war ford in existance. Car has a little over 40,000 miles. Runs decent nice interior saving up for 1st class paint job. I am the 4th owner the car was in storage since 89. Even have the 46 registration card.

WOw Throwback, I think you got a keeper there. Or at least a nice retirement plan. ;D I've been a car guy all my life, but not "old". My first wheels were a 67' mustang fastback. I've had three mustangs over the years and a 69' Camaro Z-28. I had a 68' fastback that was the fastest car on the shore back in the 80's.

for all you non muscle car knowers the L78 was a 396/375 motor package
M22 was the stronger 4 speed manual trans.

thanks man, she isn't perfect, but not bad. all the body work has been done, but the motor needs rebuilt and she needs a set of wheels and tires. she runs great, just not enough power for me. i will look for some pics, to attach when i am home for lunch.

It must be January car talk no boat or fish talk o well got to do something about the boredom or just move south like the birds. I was so desperate over the weekend worked on the model railroad. To early to start on fish stuff but do have the stuff to make a few shark rigs Hum. Anybody watching 24 on monday night?

Throwback, its cold today, but there is plenty of boatstuff to be done. I'll be swapping out brakes a little at a time this week trying to get ready to roll for the next laydown off the beach. Pleny of rock to catch still and the boys whooped on the top a few days ago. Terrible winter up north though, buddies can't ride snowmobiles or ice fish.

My v20 is over at kevens. Shift cable stuff old IO pain in the a**. Have a merc black max 200 and have thought about hanging it on a bracket but kind of nostalgic about old things. Also brackets are big $$$. HO trains real men- ok little boys -mascurading as men play with lionel and o guage. To cold to play with boats up here in Pa. I thought about keeping the insurance on the trophy over the winter to rock fish but just to expensive for a few trips. Besides the old ford needs a exhaust system and my buddies garage is warm

i built a hell of a Lionel train layout in my garage this winter for christmas.

maybe we should start a model railroad section here. looks like a few guys dabble in trains. 8)

i think Hobby Section would be great so the guys could post collector car project's maybe gun stuff train stuff tractor stuff the anything we do as a hobby even like art work who knows.

I like the Ho for inside due to looks the most realistic but enjoy my outdoor G Scale set the most.

Whats nice about HO is you can do some much more with in in the way of building a RR. What I don't like about it is no real antimated accessories. Quess its the kid in me. Been collecting lionel since I was a kid off and on. Whats interesting the price of vintage lionel stuff especially post war lionel has dropped 15 to 20 % over the past year or so. Maybe us old guys are dropping off
not much nostalagic value to a 30 year old.
A hobby board is not a bad idea. Cold as h*** here in central Pa wind chill about 20 below tonight THINK SPRING
