no not talking about Black Drum.
We have what they call Black Fish or Tautog, They live in or near the rocks, give a hell of a fight, best bait is green crab's, but they will take other bait as well.
And they have one hell of a set of teeth!! Look human!
http://www.mass.gov/dfwele/dmf/recreationalfishing/tautog.htm#description
Although capable of reaching large sizes, tautog are very slow growing. The largest tautog caught with hook-and-line in Massachusetts weighed 22 pounds 9 ounces. However, the average fish caught by anglers is 6 to 10 years old and weighs 2 to 4 pounds. Males typically grow faster and live longer than females. The maximum age for males appears to be about 35 years.

Nope, sorry for the misunderstanding. I was talkin bout tripletails, we also call em blackfish. They are like giant bream. Excellent eating and fight like a pissed off VW.

Yep, we have sheepies too. They are fun, but NOTHING compared to the mighty tripletail IMO. 8)
