Father-in-law has an old Chris Craft woody. Totally restored probably 8 or 9 years ago but has been neglected somewhat recently. Heavy good ridin boat!

reel, was she wood? Or is that glass made to look like wood? Either way, beautiful.
I think there's not much sexier than the old restored wooden hulls with the tumble home transoms and bronze thru hull exhaust with a resonance that just can't be duplicated otherwise. 8) ;)

If I would get a windfall of some sort,
that would be one of the first things I would buy,
an old wooden pleasure boat.

Father in law's boat. I've posted before. Needs to be run in an inland lake or protected passages.

Yep. Rich kids would bring boats like that to a lake I grew up on. My friends and I would trade'm beer we swiped from our dads to pull us skiing. They'd get going about 50 mph and laugh when we'd wipe out, tumble and skim on the water. Those were the good ol' dayz.
