Came across this site by accident. Looks like an Airslot site, and they have a link back to us here.

I'm glad you asked. I'm just waiting for the tax man to send me my $$$. I just hope none of the shavings made it in to the lower gearbox. There was none on the drainplug when I pulled it, and there were no chunks in the oil either. I think I will be OK. There was NO oil at all in the upper gear box, so that kept the grenade fragments from being flushed down (I hope). It's going to be a multiple oil drain summer for me, just to be sure.

Well, that sounds like great news. None of us round here are rich, all the more reason to stay on top of maintenance.

Interesting. Their used to be an old 18 ft. Airslot sitting behind a house in Onancock. Looked like it hadnt moved in a long time! Dont know if its still there though.

There's an 18 for sale in Salisbury on Riverside drive right now. Pretty clean boat for its age too.

A guy came up to me recently, saw my hat and said, " V-20!?!?...biggest I ever had was a V-8!" ...I looked him square in the eye and said, "Yer messin' w/ too small a boat!"...
