Hey Lumber,

I am no expert, but that thing seems to be hanging off the back of the trailer a little to far. I have the same Venture single axle trailer, and I moved the pulpit up about a foot closer to the front. Just MHO :-/

I think the issue is, it's not good to leave that much of the stern unsupported. Your bunks, rollers should be all the way to the stern, or at least darn close.

macojoe

I agree, but I went years like his and never had any issues.
But made sure I got it right whenI got th new trailer.

$25 per linear ft really is not that bad,
20 x 25 = 500, well worth the agravation factor.

If it where square, that would be a different decision all together.

Did you buy braided line for a rub rail? You must've had alot of money left over from your ETEC purchase. I used black nylon. I feel cheap. ;)

Can you xplain to me whats going on in those pics? I am not familiar with "soda" blasting. I just assumed that it was a different blast material, but was essentially the same as sand blasting. Whats that big bag for? I'm confused. *???

Sorry for the dumb questions... :-/

Mulv80
04-15-2007, 10:26 PM
I think the bag is to contain the paint thats blasted off. The EPA is pretty tuff on these guys especially when you working so close to the water.
