I know that you had said before that your V was a little sluggish with that motor, which really suprised me as well as my 140 does. Wonder if it has been running at less than 100% the whole time.

Nope...she's been gettin' 100% ... motor's not sluggish once outta the hole ... pretty strong on plane all the way up to 6 grand at 42 mph...I've got it propped to cruise 30 mph which doesn't give it a great hole-shot ;) ...C'mon down, I'll show ya and we can chase some stripes 8) ...
Swing by and scoop up Blue Runner on yer way ;) ...

OK, I was confussed on the sluggish part, glad the brain was warrantied but I bet that Honda woulda fixed it anyway since they put out a bulliten on it.
From what I have read, winter is the best time for stripes, is that true? *Or are they year round like most other fish in this area?

My favorite time is winter cause the are up in the top of the water column and SMASH live bait near the surface...they can be had other times of the year, but gettin' down's tuff sometimes ;) ...C'mon down ... we'll do some cut-baitin' ;) ...
