Is there anybody that lives in the Columbia SC area that can look at/survey a boat for me?
I found one that seems ok but I don't want to drive 8 hours to find it's real bad ....... Been there and done that before .......
Thanks
Rick

I'm in Charleston, would look at it for you but I'm way too busy(I'm scheduling three weeks out), if I think of someone I'll send them your way

This is the boat http://www.thehulltruth.com/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=107243&posts=42
Can't figure out why this hasn't sold ....... been on the market for over a year ....... I talked to the guy ..... everything is solid on the boat ........ he is rewiring to put the batteries in the console ......... trailer doesn't have brakes ........ other than that it's supposed to be good ......... I thought it would be great for the CBBT ..... 23' built like an OX would handle almost anything this area would give out and the dual engines makes it extra safe against engine failure and the price can't be beat ........
Anyway, the significant other convinced me to wait and trailer my boat this year before buying another boat for just down there. My buddy also chimed in and said the same thing so I guess I won't be getting one this year .......... bummer ......... it's just part of the dream to go down there, have a nice comfortable place to stay and have a boat waiting ....... something about just turning a key to the trailer and not having to trailer a boat for 5 hours that's REALLY appealing .......
In addition, a nice v20 CC was just posted on Hulltruth

Lumberslinger has a response on that thread on the second page, he might have some insight on this.
