View Full Version : being evicted/relocated
Well I have to move off my mooring on Sunday :-[ but the good news is the owner has a 2nd mooring right next to it :D but the not so good news is it will need new chains and 150ft of rope, as it has been vacant for a few years :P
The new one is in the far left hand of this pic. next to the zodiac yup thats right, the marker is a keg, how apropriate 8) ;D

The other scathy part is that the line run to the shore/side of the road, with litle or no verticle drop (the other one runs to a rock shelf/dock), so low tide is going to be a pain

PLEASE tell me you photoshopped that picture. That is way too nice. I'd give one of my best friend's crown ***els just to moor there. (It's OK, he's done with them anyway)

Bass, the boats on a draw string, sort off like a close line, I just pull her in and pull her back out. Is a litle work, specially @ low low, or high high tides, or when the rope twist. But I'm not complaining ;D

Put a winch on the bank...hit a button and she'll come right to ya ;) ... 8) ...
Well she is on her new mooring ;D The new one is a litle more scary, low tide there is only about 2ft of water and the boat has to remain bow out so the incomming serge/waves dont sink her :o
I need to tie off to the bow and a second clip to the stern that runs to the shore to keep her facing the ocean. here she is:

I need to go back down and finalize a few things, but before my wife left with the camara I fugured I would take a few pics.
