I am trying to find someone within the VA area that does hardtops at a good price.

I want to send less then $2000 for a decent top. I really don't know why they cost more then $2000 and sometimes $5000.

If anyone has one that will fit a 24' boat let me know.

Thanks

There is a guy on the eastern shore north of the CBBT. My boss had his done there, they are pretty good. Airslot might know the name, if not I can ask my boss. ;)

Standard Welding & Marine in Mears, VA. is the place CY is thinking of. They were in the 5k area when I got a quote for a hardtop from them.

Hourly rate of welders is big bucks. Guy in lewes is the cheapest. $65 an hour. A hardtop will run ya about 3500. :-/

Deshet:

Believe your going to look long and hard to find a tube bender that will make one for 2K. I just spent 1,800 to modify the legs of used T-Top I purchased to fit my other project. Suggest you hit Ebay and remember modifications to a used one that doesn't quite fit right aren't cheap either. Looking back on my experience if the T-top I modified didn't already have a aluminum radio box, Top Gun outrigger mounts and a Radar, I would have gone with new vice used.
