Yeah, I was floating in the lake trying to keep the camera dry. My 6 y/o is looking cool in daddy's glasses driving the V. Looks like we're surfing in the second pic. Check out the last two pics. That shine came from wetsanding with 1500, 2000 and 2500. I then used my PC with medium then fine polish, and finished with a coat of wax. She's not new but I'm trying.

Enjoy,
Maury

Lumber,

Haven't ordered the seats yet. Got two quotes $525 and $600. That includes the four backs and the two bottoms. I bought some hardwood to make the brackets for the bottoms but haven't made/installed them yet. One piece at a time. I still need to sell my 16' Critchfield. Seat money will come from that.

Great looking boat and cool photo angles. Some of those shots look like they came right out of a sales brochure.

I tried the wetsanding/polishing method on part of the dark marroon trim color on my boat. It was severely faded and chalky. Polishing and wax alone was an improvement but it quicky chalked up again. Wetsanding really made it look almost new and it has stayed that way for a couple of months now. I just need to get up the gumption to tackle the whole boat.

Same here. When you get down under the bow, that's alot of surface area to sand, not to mention the bow flair gives your shoulders a workout.

Nice pics.

I don't know if I would have had the guts to let the wife drive a boat past me while I floated in the water.....I am worth much more dead than alive to her. :o
