Was trying to come up with a mooring situation and daddy didn't like my ideas so he's beating me to the punch by making these yesterday.
He's done this in the past having done dredge work as a teenager.
Have to let you know as it progresses.

Ol'engine blocks work perfect.
Those you have there should hold a V-20 thru anything.

I had access to some 4cyl blocks and was going to use them, but noo. Actually this will work better.

The hole where the anchor is going is about 10ft deep at low tide, the location for the boat between the anchor and the dock is about 3-5'deep. The distance between the them is about 50' from the anchor to the bouy and 50' to the dock. Some where in between is where the boat will be.
Now we also got a 10' fluctuation between the tides to contend with so this will take some trial and error.
There will be a line tied to the dock from all this.
The reason I can't simply tie off to the is dock is at low tide for about 5' away from it has no water and the boat will list too badly to one side.
