to me, the 26 Bertram is probably the best hull under 30 there is, allways suprised no one has tried to splash one in the US and market it with outboards on a bracket

That would be great if they would use an inboard diesel with jackshaft drive & a Duo-Prop Stern Drive or Diesel WaterJet... Much like the Albemarle....

Which, BTW the most efficient marine drive there is....

not trying to splits hairs(yeah I know its kinda like a stern drive), but the IPS(Volvo) is now the most effeicent.

Cummins/Mercuiser has a test boat down here that is a 26 Bertram with twin 150 HP Diesel sterndrive package that is sweet, but is expensive.
