Read on THT that a 21 C/C scorpoin walkaround is the same hull as a V20. I would say no way, but thought i would ask the experts.

I say they are different too. Those v-20 bows are way rounded, I don't think those old scorpions are that round are they?

You guys can search the archives, but I emailed John Deknatel who has been the President of C Raymond Hunt and assoc since Ray Hunt Died in the 70's. He told me the Chris Craft is the steplift with different chines . . . and I'm inclined to believe him, since he's a naval architect with 40+ years experience and worked with Ray Hunt since 1963.
I can't seem to find the first thread . . . but here was one email.

I have spent a lot of time on the 21 C/C and I will have to say it is much more heavy boat and offers a smother ride . My friends was built in the mid 1980's and was rated for 300 hp . It has a deeper V than the Wellcraft . To me it has the same profile as the pre-1978 Wellcraft . I have been looking out for a well kept center console for a while and have not been able to find one . Bottom line ...... great hull !
